This year, NDRI celebrates 22 years of impactful journey, a testament to relentless dedication and meaningful contributions to Nepal’s development landscape. We are proud to have been recognized as one of Nepal’s leading think tanks, receiving the prestigious Niti Award from the Policy Research Institute. This accolade reaffirms our commitment to rigorous, evidence-based research and policy influence. NDRI’s work spans critical sectors including agriculture, livelihood, food security, education, health, climate, water, environment, disaster resilience, GEDSI, and economic development. At our core, we are dedicated to generating actionable knowledge and fostering a dynamic platform for researchers—especially young, emerging voices from diverse backgrounds to contribute to national discourse. Our reach and influence continue to grow through robust collaborations at both national and international levels. The active participation of NDRI personnel on global platforms fills us with pride and reinforces our role in shaping dialogues that transcend borders.
