Feasibility study for the proposed project “Building Community Resilience for Food and Nutrition Security and Disaster Risk Reduction in Salyan District, Nepal” (AWO International)

The purpose of feasibility study is to provide a sound basis for the further development of the project concept into a full proposal by clarifying the prerequisites, opportunities and risks through systematically checking the extent to which the project's approach can achieve the planned changes. The assignment will clarify the prerequisites, opportunities, and risks associated with the proposed intervention. This includes assessing whether the targeting approach is realistic, whether gender and social inclusion have been sufficiently embedded, and whether coordination mechanisms with the municipality and district actors are adequate. Since long-term sustainability depends heavily on municipal ownership and integration into local planning systems, the study will evaluate the strength of these linkages and propose ways to reinforce them.
