NDRI, in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), is conducting an experimental survey to assess the current state of social cohesion and social capital in Nepal’s post-conflict communities. The study covers nine districts with varying levels of conflict exposure and examines how trust, cooperation, and community relations have evolved nearly two decades after the civil conflict. By combining field-based behavioral experiments with structured surveys, the project generates evidence to help local and national governments design more informed and inclusive policies.
